For the history passionate out there, the medieval hamlet of Erice is one not to miss!

Only 30 km from San Vito, Erice boasts a breath-taking view and scrumptious culinary specialties, such as the "genovesi", delicious pastries!

Events

The district administration of San Vito lo Capo is also very keen on sponsoring folklore activities. The most popular of all being the international culinary competition that is being held yearly at the end of September, the Cous Cous Fest.

Countless are also the events dedicated to celebrate the Monte Monaco, with activities such as trekking and climbing.
